Kedarnath and Badrinath are two of the most important pilgrimage sites in Hinduism, located in the northern state of Uttarakhand, India. They are collectively known as the Do Dham Yatra, which is a popular pilgrimage circuit among Hindus.
Kedarnath is a holy town situated at an altitude of 3,583 meters above sea level. It is the site of one of the twelve Jyotirlingas (divine representations of Lord Shiva), and the Kedarnath Temple is dedicated to Lord Shiva. The temple is believed to have been built by the Pandavas during the Mahabharata era and is considered one of the holiest temples in India.
After arriving at Haridwar, you will be driven to Guptakashi. Check in to the hotel and get settled in. Undergo a medical check-up for the darshan. The day ends with an overnight stay at the hotel and dinner.
